The Weird & Wonderful of Hudson NY - Pete Lorimer Vlog #64

My journey around the United States this week, shooting a show for TV, has led us to a truly unique spot. This week we are in Hudson in upstate New York which is a sleepy little enclave of the N.E. with a heavy concentration of creative types.  Home to some of the most well-known artists, designers, sculptors and restauranteurs that US has to offer.

With what little time I have off I love to Vlog, so here is episode #64 of The Peter Lorimer Vlog where you will see some fab drone footage I shot with my Spark and also you will get to meet a couple of the colorful characters of this charming upstate town where time stood still

It is the middle of Winter and BOY was it cold, but there was something strangely familiar to me about the town as it reminded me of so many of the North Yorkshire towns I grew up near when I was a boy.

So wrap up warm, put on your snow boots and come with me for a journey through some real Americana as we spend a little time in the perfectly exquisite Hudson in upstate New York.

TAKING NYC - The TV Show Continues in New York | Pete Lorimer Vlog #63 | Travel & Vlogging

This week the circus rolled into town in the buzzing metropolis of New York City. There is nowhere quite like this town and in what little time I had off from shooting the show I managed to grab some majorly touristy moments in The Big Apple. I have only spent a couple of days or so in NY before but this time I got to hang for a whole week and visit a spot I have never been to before.... Brooklyn!!

Thanks for watching......and enjoy!

I am Making a TV Show | Peter Lorimer Vlog #62 | Travel & Vlogging

In my Vlog this week I am very proud to announce that I have been chosen to be a host on a massive network show (not allowed to say which one yet), where I will be traveling around the USA going to some well-known towns and cities during the recording of the show. My Vlog is NOT the show, but rather me vlogging at the same time the show is being made in what little spare time I have.

We start in the beating heart of America but I am not going to give away what city it is (although it’s pretty obvious from the opening).

I could not be more proud to make the show as it’s real estate, travel and design related but that’s all I can say for now. I will update more as the weeks roll.

As always, thanks for watching and your time.

No Sleep ‘til Brooklyn

The Next City We Shoot for the Show

So, it’s time to jump to our second city on production of the new TV show, that has to remain incognito, Which is the wonderful borough of Brooklyn just across the water from Manhattan I and I’m excited yet a little embarrassed to say I have never set foot in Brooklyn before and as I sit here at Los Angeles airport I am full of all my own ideals of exactly what Brooklyn will be like but I’m sure they will be smashed the moment my feet hit the concrete  of the Big Apple adjacent neighborhood.

Growing up in the United Kingdom, I experienced countless mob movies and the like and of course I am profoundly aware of Brooklyn royalty such as the beastie boys, Jay Z,  Notorious BIG just to mention a few. The image of the Brooklyn Bridge, I think, is in blazoned on every America obsessed youngster, as I was, and now in a few hours I will finally get to see An American castle and gaze up on its magnificence with my own two eyes. This is been a year full of epic moments for me and it seems that the last month of 2017 is no different. I will attempt to share the sights, smells and sounds of everything I experience in Brooklyn but please remember I am there to work so I will do my best to bring you along for the ride while they are not cracking the whip on me lol.
