Shhh...I Shouldn't Be Showing You This - Secret Silver Lake

You guys know I love pushing boundaries and just generally living on the edge. And anytime I can give you some juicy nuggets of information, I have to. So I worked up this cheeky sneak peek for you to see this fabulous project I've been working on.

The project is a tremendous property called SJ8 and they are a little more luxe than the usual. It's located 5 minutes from a $6 latte at Sunset Junction and boasts breathtaking views, gorgeous plans, and a sought-after location. This is all I'm allowed to show you for now (really, shouldn't be showing you this), but stay tuned for more.

Check this out and 🤐.

Keynote - Utah Relocation Summit - Backstage Pass - Pete Lorimer Vlog

I recently spoke at a conference in Park City about a very specific niche: RELOCATION.

When executives are asked to be relocated, relocation services (like Influence Relocation), step in and help find real estate agents to get the job done. It’s a unique direction that takes discipline.

So, everyone at that conference has picked a lane and is running hard--and that's where the magic happens. You gotta know your niche.

Like with my crowd, I appeal to the people I appeal to and I don’t stop, I post relentlessly. I create content for my sphere, constantly working to add value and then--I prospect, thats the magic formula.

Thanks for being part of the rebellion and for being here ❤️ Pete.

A Day in Detroit - Taking in the Motor City - Backstage Pass Vlog

Backstage Pass – A Day in the Motor City

Today’s Vlog is a bit more fun and a bit less business.  After the conference, I went on an adventure around Detroit to see the sights, and was definitely not disappointed.  First stop, The Heidelberg Project.  This is a somewhat crazy and wonderful outdoor expression of art in the middle of the city.  It has an almost post-apocalyptic feel to it.  I dug the madness of it all.  Next, I saw the murals all around the Eastern Market.  As a lot of you know, I’m a huge fan of street are and this was like nothing I had seen before.  Definitely recommend a visit.  Then onto Russell Street, which was a lovely tribute to creators and to the people of Detroit.

And lastly, I finished up my excursion riding The People Mover, where I got to see the whole shebang.  What an explosion of creativity.  My kind of place.  I couldn’t have had a better time in a better city.  Thank you Detroit!  Can’t wait to come back next year, when hopefully it’s a tad warmer.

Thanks for watching and for being part of the rebellion....

Media & Motivation Clinic Part II #tbt

Back by popular request is my media & motivation clinic part II that I shot last year.

Where ever I go on my travels people seem to mention it and even last week while I was in Michigan it was mentioned yet again. so for this throwback Tuesday may I present my media and motivation clinic originally recorded in Beverly Hills at the PLG Estates headquarters.

During the clinic, I get down and dirty on some of the most successful techniques I have used to help me carve out a rather juicy slice of the Los Angeles real estate market. I will go over many strategies in social media and have my usual anti vanilla rant plus I talk about storytelling and how to become your own mini filmmaker.

So much of commerce these days is not in the “sell” of it all, quite the contrary, there is now and has been for while a much more inert/organic approach to creating a relationship prior to selling that in my opinion needs to take place way before any transaction. Longevity, for me, is far more interesting than the quick buck. So, when we put in so much effort to try and catch someone’s attention why would we blow it with a “quick buck, fast sell” mentality. That seems very shortsighted to me.

Once we have their attention that’s where the long game begins. We nuture, advise, Council and everything in between as once we have their trust we will always have their business.

Thanks for watching and for being part of the rebellion......

The Weird & Wonderful of Hudson NY - Pete Lorimer Vlog #64

My journey around the United States this week, shooting a show for TV, has led us to a truly unique spot. This week we are in Hudson in upstate New York which is a sleepy little enclave of the N.E. with a heavy concentration of creative types.  Home to some of the most well-known artists, designers, sculptors and restauranteurs that US has to offer.

With what little time I have off I love to Vlog, so here is episode #64 of The Peter Lorimer Vlog where you will see some fab drone footage I shot with my Spark and also you will get to meet a couple of the colorful characters of this charming upstate town where time stood still

It is the middle of Winter and BOY was it cold, but there was something strangely familiar to me about the town as it reminded me of so many of the North Yorkshire towns I grew up near when I was a boy.

So wrap up warm, put on your snow boots and come with me for a journey through some real Americana as we spend a little time in the perfectly exquisite Hudson in upstate New York.

I am Making a TV Show | Peter Lorimer Vlog #62 | Travel & Vlogging

In my Vlog this week I am very proud to announce that I have been chosen to be a host on a massive network show (not allowed to say which one yet), where I will be traveling around the USA going to some well-known towns and cities during the recording of the show. My Vlog is NOT the show, but rather me vlogging at the same time the show is being made in what little spare time I have.

We start in the beating heart of America but I am not going to give away what city it is (although it’s pretty obvious from the opening).

I could not be more proud to make the show as it’s real estate, travel and design related but that’s all I can say for now. I will update more as the weeks roll.

As always, thanks for watching and your time.

Cheers
Pete

It is all about putting what we want dead last and putting what our clients want dead first and as long as we do that, the business will continue to find us.

Skindiving With Giant Seabass - Passing My Scuba Cert - Life & Times Vlog

In this episode of the vlog, I don an excruciatingly tight wetsuit and end the film with passing my diver cert at Casino Point on Catalina Island, just off the coast of CA, and seeing an incredibly huge seabass that I reached out and touched as it swam by.  We start the film with "Basic Training' in a pool in LA and all the antics that go along with it.

I have to give big ups to hollywooddivers.com who is the outfit in LA that so many people use and they were nothing short of brilliant and Barak, their instructor was a badass from beginning to end. If you are thinking about taking your scuba cert give Hollywood Divers a shout.
